About BunkWise

BunkWise is a free, privacy-first academic toolkit built specifically for students at Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) and all RTU-affiliated colleges — SKIT Jaipur, Poornima University, VGU, Arya College of Engineering, JECRC University, and hundreds more.

What is BunkWise?

BunkWise provides three core tools that every RTU student needs every semester:

  • Attendance Calculator — Paste your ERP attendance report and instantly see your aggregate percentage, subject-wise breakdown, and exactly how many classes you can skip or must attend per subject to maintain the 75% threshold.
  • SGPA Calculator — Upload your RTU result PDF and get your Semester Grade Point Average computed automatically using the official RTU credit-weighted formula. Also supports SKIT autonomous results through an AI-powered pipeline.
  • Class Wise Calculator — See how your aggregate attendance will change if you attend or skip a specific number of future classes — before you make the decision.

Privacy & Data

Every tool on BunkWise runs entirely in your browser. Your attendance data and RTU result PDFs are never uploaded to any server, never stored, and never shared. When you close the tab, everything is gone.

The only exception is the SKIT autonomous SGPA feature, which sends the text extracted from your result PDF to Google's Gemini AI API for analysis. This is processed in transit and not stored by BunkWise.

Who built BunkWise?

BunkWise was designed and built by a single developer — a student at SKIT Jaipur who needed these tools and built them properly. See the Creator Description page for more.
