Website design & SEO services
Privacy Policy

Who this policy covers
This policy explains how BunkWise Technologies ("BunkWise", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit our website design pages (including our website design page, our blog and our about page), ask us for a quote, or hire us to design a website or run SEO for your business.
BunkWise is based in India. The company, BunkWise (OPC) Private Limited, is being incorporated. Questions about this policy go to email [email protected], WhatsApp +91 63752 42538 or Telegram @Madhavraj840.
What we collect, and why
- Quote requests. Our quote form does not send anything to our servers. When you tap send, your browser opens WhatsApp or Telegram with your message already written, and you choose whether to send it. If you do, we receive what you wrote (such as your name, business name, type of business, the package you chose, your region and your message), along with your phone number or Telegram username. We use this to reply and prepare your quote.
- Messages and email. If you contact us directly, we keep the conversation so we can answer you and follow up on your project.
- Project material. When you hire us, you share business details, text, photos, logos and sometimes access to accounts such as your domain, hosting, Google Business Profile, Search Console or Analytics. We use this only to build, launch and look after your website.
- Billing records. We keep invoices and payment records for accounting and tax purposes. Payments go through your bank, UPI app or payment provider; we never see or store your full card details or banking passwords.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our pages: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country or city level), the device and browser used, and actions such as viewing our prices, choosing a package or opening a chat. This helps us improve the pages. Google Analytics uses cookies; you can block them in your browser or use Google's opt-out add-on.
- Session recordings and heatmaps. On our business pages (not on our student calculators) we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors move through a page: where they click or tap, how far they scroll and where they get stuck. Clarity records these interactions as anonymised session replays and heatmaps. It masks what you type into forms, so your name and message are not captured, and it does not identify you personally. Clarity uses cookies; you can block them in your browser. Microsoft’s privacy statement applies to this data.
- Your cookie choice. Visitors in the European Union, the wider EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked before any analytics or Clarity cookies are set; until you accept, Google Analytics only receives anonymous, cookieless signals and Clarity does not load. Anyone can change their choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser.
- Your price region. The pricing section guesses your region from your browser's time zone and remembers your choice in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with services we need to do the work:
- WhatsApp (Meta) and Telegram, which carry our conversations under their own privacy policies;
- Google, for Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile and email;
- Microsoft, for Clarity session recordings and heatmaps;
- hosting, domain and code platforms used to build and publish your website, such as GitHub;
- professional advisers such as our accountant, and authorities when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside India. We only use established providers that protect data with industry-standard security.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not become a project: up to 24 months, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back.
- Project material: for the length of the project and any monthly plan. Afterwards, we delete account access and working files we no longer need, and keep a copy of the finished website for our records and portfolio.
- Invoices and payment records: as long as Indian tax and company law requires.
- Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (14 months).
- Clarity recordings: about 30 days, unless we save a recording to investigate a specific problem; aggregated heatmap data for up to 13 months.
Keeping account access safe
Where possible, please give us our own user access (for example, adding us as a user on Google Business Profile or Search Console) instead of sharing your password. We remove our access when it is no longer needed, and we ask you to change any password you shared with us once the project is complete.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, completed or erased, withdraw your consent, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance with us.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR also give you the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to how we use your data, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We aim to reply within 30 days.
Children
Our website design and SEO services are for businesses and are not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through these pages.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will tell current clients directly about significant changes.
